The Yard Will Open With Everything from a Beer Garden to a Dog Park

The “adult playground” comes to Ft. Worth next week

The Yard

The newest venture from One Entertainment Group, the company behind Landmark Bar & Kitchen and Texas Republic, has everything but the kitchen sink. The Yard will debut on March 8 at 3017 Morton St. in Fort Worth, and it includes a beer garden stocked with 70 beers, a dog park, a Texas-sized rooftop patio, and room for food trucks.

That’s not all: the 18,000-square-foot hangout also will include an “adult playground,” in the form of an arcade with games such as Hypershoot Basketball and Lane Master Bowling, ping pong tables, and a miniature golf course. The dog park sounds like a blast for dogs too, with a dog toys, chews, and a special doggie menu.

“We wanted to give people in and around Fort Worth a laid-back place to hang out and have fun,” Sam Sameni, Principal of One Entertainment Group, said in a statement. “The Yard will hold up to 1,500 people, significantly larger than most other concepts in the area, so it’ll be a great platform for national touring acts. When we saw that Capital Bar closed, we knew we had the perfect opportunity to bring people a whole new level of fun. We got together and made a list of everything we would love to see in a fun and relaxed ‘backyard’ and incorporated it into The Yard. We can’t wait to show off the results when we open next month!”

The Yard will be open Monday through Friday from 4 p.m. to 2 a.m., and Saturday and Sunday from 11 a.m. to 2 a.m.
