The Dough Dough, an absurdly named dessert spot that focuses exclusively on scoops of cookie dough, has made its North Dallas debut.

The shop at 5915 Forest Lane kicked open its doors over the weekend, and is now serving up more than a dozen different types of dough, including classic sugar cookie, a vegan chocolate chip option, and the seasonally-available “Lady In Red,” a red velvet cookie dough with white chocolate chips. There’s even a peanut butter-oatmeal cookie dough on the menu for discerning dogs.

For folks who may be slightly concerned about consuming raw cookie dough, The Dough Dough says that the pasteurized eggs and heat-treated flour used to make its cookie dough treats can reduce the risk of food poisoning enough to make the sweet cups of dough safe enough to eat. Similiar methods are employed at New York City’s Do, the shop that arguably kicked off safe-to-eat raw cookie dough as a trend across the country.

The Dough Dough is now open from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m., Sunday through Thursday, and 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. on Friday and Saturday.
