Kosher Palate, a market and barbecue joint all in one, is debuting this summer in North Dallas.
The forthcoming deli at 7989 Belt Line Rd will have seating for about 40 diners plus a space for events, CultureMap reports. The outpost will offer grab-and-go options like burgers, fried chicken, sandwiches made with house-cured meats, salads, soups, and baked goods along with ribs and brisket from the proprietor’s other venture, catering company Texas Kosher BBQ. Items like honey-poblano chicken and sea bass are also available on the catering menu, plus, the grocery will stock a full range of Kosher meat, dairy, and vegetable offerings, of course.
”Just imagine a typical New York Jewish deli where you go in and buy prepared foods and sandwiches. You can sit down or take it to go,” Howard Goldfeder, owner of Kosher Palate, told CultureMap. “We’ll experiment with other things. We want it to be kosher but we want to have a good time.”
Kosher Palate is set to arrive this summer, at which time diners will be able to use its smartphone app to place orders and schedule delivery or pick-up. Stay tuned for an official opening date and hours of operation.
