BurgerFi, a national chain for antibiotic and hormone-free meats and veggie-friendly fare in an eco-conscious space, will debut later this month across from Mockingbird Station.

The 2,800 square-foot eatery will open on June 25 at 5456 E. Mockingbird Lane, accommodating 90 diners between the inside dining room and outdoor patio. Its modern, eco-friendly design is constructed from highly renewable pine walls and features chairs made of upcycled Coca-Cola bottles and recycled paper countertops. Even the ketchup packets are made from recycled materials.

The menu touts 100% certified black Angus beef that‘s free from steroids, antibiotics, growth hormones, chemicals, and additives. According to a press release, the restaurant’s most popular burger is The CEO with Wagyu and brisket blend patties topped with homemade candied bacon-tomato jam, truffle aioli, and Swiss cheese. Meat lovers will also find 100% all-natural Vienna beef dogs on the menu, plus vegetarians can chow down on the oft-talked-about Beyond Burger and the restaurant’s own VegeFi Burger made with crispy quinoa. Fries, onion rings, frozen custard, shakes, and craft beer will also be on offer.

Local franchisee Brandt Stravlo already operates two BurgerFi outposts in West Texas and has more planned for DFW. “Everything is made from scratch. There is no freezer in the building,“ he said in a statement. “The décor and products, from chairs to the ketchup packets, are made of recycled materials. We are excited to introduce BurgerFi to Dallas, creating jobs and being part of the community.”

When it opens on June 25, hours of operation will be Sunday through Thursday, 11 a.m. to 10 p.m.; Friday and Saturday, 11 a.m. to 11 p.m.
