Amazon Now Delivers Booze in Dallas in Two Hours or Less

Amazon is fulfilling every introverted Dallas drinker’s biggest wish: door-to-door alcohol delivery that’s “super fast.”

The retail behemoth’s Prime Now service is now offering hundreds of popular beer and wine brands that can be delivered to any Dallasite’s door within two hours, according to a press release. Beers from local breweries, including Revolver Brewing Company, Four Corners Brewing, Deep Ellum Brewing, and Community Brewing Company will be represented among the offerings, along with popular Texas brews like Shiner and Austin Eastciders.

The new booze delivery service is only available to members of Amazon Prime, and free delivery is available in two hour windows. For folks who need their beer faster than that, paying a $4.99 delivery fee can have a sixer of Deep Ellum IPA at the door within an hour. This is just the latest addition to Amazon’s delivery arsenal in Dallas — the company also delivers groceries from its own warehouses and Whole Foods and prepared food from a number of local restaurants and chains.

Beer and wine delivery is now live on the Prime Now app, and is available Monday through Saturday 8 a.m. to 10 p.m. and Sunday 12 p.m. to 10 p.m.
