When The Union mixed-use development debuts in Uptown this fall, it will be home to a Mexican eatery called Tacolingo and Frisco Japanese restaurant Kotta Sushi Lounge.

The former, Tacolingo, will occupy a 3,500 square foot space inside the sprawling building at Field and Cedar Springs, where it will serve Tex-Mex fare like tacos and margaritas, according to a press release. Both restaurants join previously-announced eatery North Italia from Arizona-based hospitality group Fox Restaurant Concepts.

Kotta Sushi Lounge will open its second outpost in a 4,000 square foot space at the Union. Originally opened in Frisco, the restaurant serves up sushi rolls and Japanese dishes like wasabi pepper chicken and miso-glazed sea bass. In addition to the eats, Kotta will also offer a full bar.

Both restaurants are expected to debut inside The Union, which is still under construction, sometime in late fall. Stay tuned for details on an official opening date.
