Want to learn the proper technique for hurling axes competitively? The newest group event craze takes aim in Dallas with this weekend’s grand opening of Bad Axe Throwing, a national chain with 16 locations in the U.S. and Canada.
Bad Axe Throwing will be offering free ax throwing lessons from June 8 through June 10. For those who wonder what that entails, coaches will explain exactly how to throw axes at a target safely.
For the grand opening weekend, Bad Axe Throwing is partnering with local brewery Deep Ellum Brewing, who will pass out samples on site. See more details about the event here on the Facebook page.
Bad Axe Throwing’s new outpost is located at 5438 E. Grand Avenue in Dallas. The grand opening hours are: 6 p.m. to 11 p.m. on Friday, June 8; 2 p.m. to 11 p.m. on Saturday, June 9, and 2p.m. to 8 p.m. on Sunday, June 10.
