Here’s some news about the Guy Fieri’s namesake restaurant headed to Arlington’s Texas Live: it’s going to be less Donkey Sauce-slathered burgers, more Shiner Ruby Red-glazed pork shoulder tacos. The television host and restaurateur will open Guy Fieri’s Taco Joint at Texas Live on August 9, when the many other restaurants in the development situated between Globe Life Park and AT&T Stadium debut.
“I’m stoked to bring my Taco Joint to Texas Live!,” Guy Fieri said in a release. “Nothing starts a good party like some killer tacos and a few margaritas and we’re doin’ it all in Arlington. Love, Peace and Taco Grease!”
On that note, Taco Joint will serve tacos like ‘Achiote Chicken’ or shredded slow-braised achiote-marinated chicken tacos with borracho sauce, pico de gallo, cabbage, cotija and salsa rojo along with Fieri’s own margarita concoctions.
