Start, a local fast food restaurant dedicated to serving dishes made with organic ingredients will open its third location in Frisco on Monday.

The forthcoming outpost located at 5533 Old Lebanon Road will join Start’s two other locations on Greenville and Lemmon Avenues. Start first opened in Dallas in 2012 as a health-focused eatery with a drive-thru, patio, and dining room that serves breakfast, lunch, and dinner. As far as its responsibly raised ingredients, diners can expect organic eggs, milk, and sugar; meats and eggs sourced from humanely-raised animals free of hormones, antibiotics, or nitrates; and beef that is 100% grass fed.

Standout menu offerings include bacon and egg stuffed burritos and sandwiches on the breakfast menu, chicken and goat cheese empanadas, a whole section of loaded sweet potatoes, plus salads, sandwiches, wraps, burgers, smoothies, juices, and coffee the rest of the day.

Former attorney Erin McKool launched Start to fill void in the healthy drive-through dining market. “It is virtually impossible to find anything organic in a drive-thru,” reads a press release announcing the restaurant’s expansion. “‘Healthy’ doesn’t always equate to ‘tasty’. Our focus is not on diet food. Rather, we are offering our guests their favorite foods only smarter,” McKool states.

Start’s Frisco location will operate 7 days a week from 6:30 a.m. to 9 p.m.
