Once construction is completed on the Legacy Central development at Highway 75 and Legacy, Plano will be home to a brand new food hall called The District.

Construction is underway on the massive, 85-acre development that will eventually house The District, and leasing documents indicate that it will offer both indoor and outdoor seating for up to 400 diners. It will be home to four as-yet-unnamed food stalls, plus rotating food trucks and an outdoor “barbecue station” with nearby yard games.

It’s early in the leasing process for Legacy Central, which will also reportedly house a hotel, multiple restaurants, and a coffee shop. The development will also boast five acres of green space with free WiFi, a coffee bar, and outdoor seating for those aforementioned restaurants. The restaurants and food hall will have a built-in clientele thanks to the giant office buildings, including a sprawling Samsung campus, filling the space.

It looks like construction is complete on the building that The District will open in, potentially by mid-2019. Stay tuned for more updates on its arrival, and scope out a rendering of the space below.
