A Los Angeles’ export for Neapolitan pizzas, MidiCi, is expanding in DFW with a second area location slated to open in Preston Hollow next month.

The new location will open in October at 7825 Firefall Way, Suite 180 in Preston Hollow Village. MidiCi’s first eatery in DFW debuted this spring in Uptown’s West Village, slinging airy thin-crust pizzas next door to Cru Food & Wine Bar and the Magnolia Theatre. Interiors at the new location will no doubt reflect the laid-back neighborhood eatery atmosphere found in its West Village spot. As focal points of the restaurant, MidiCi (meaning “tell me” in Italian) features a live black olive tree and wood-fired ovens made in Naples that are covered in an eye-catching shimmering gold.

In Preston Hollow, diners can look forward to pizzas covered in eggs and bacon; prosciutto and truffles; and chicken pesto to name a few. As far as appetizers are concerned, there are several meat and cheese boards along with meatballs and mozzarella, calzones, salads, plus desserts like gelato and a Nutella calzone. A certified cicerone has curated the beer selection with craft brews, plus wine and coffee are on offer.

MidiCi’s new Preston Hollow Village location will debut on the ground floor of the new Douglas luxury apartment building across from Orangetheory Fitness. Stay tuned for an official opening date and hours of operation.
