Cheesy fries taste even better before a flight

NYC’s Shake Shack, a relatively recent entrant to Dallas’ burger scene, just debuted in DFW Airport for the first time, making it the first Texas airport to get an outpost for the insanely popular cheese fries and custard concretes.

The brand’s newest outpost is located in Terminal C near Gate C7, bringing a decent burger option to the terminal which currently mostly boasts other fast-food spots like Chick-Fil-A, McDonald’s, and Dickey’s Barbecue. The airport outpost joins additional DFW Shake Shacks in Uptown, on Royal Lane, at Plano’s Legacy West development, and the most recent debuts in Southlake and Las Colinas at the end of December.

At DFW Airport, Shake Shack will serve up its “all-natural” Angus beef burgers, chicken sandwiches and Vienna beef hotdogs that are free from hormones and antibiotics, plus delectable frozen custard concretes, crinkle cut fries, craft beer, and wine. There will also be breakfast sandwiches with eggs, cheese, and choices of bacon or sausage, plus caffeinated brews from Stumptown Coffee Roasters.

Shake Shack is now open in at gate C7 in terminal C and operates 5 a.m. to 10 p.m. daily.
