One of Dallas’ best vegan eateries, Nature’s Plate, now has a new location in Plano.

The brand new destination for plant-based fare is located at 8404 Preston Road, Suite 226. Like its two other locations in East Dallas and North Dallas, this Nature’s Plate location offers grab-and-go eats as well as weekly meal plans that are 100% vegan, non-GMO, and mostly organic. For those with food allergies, meal options are also available that are free from gluten, nuts, soy, or oils.

Some standout options include the sweet potato enchiladas with organic corn tortillas, black beans, and sun-dried tomatoes, smothered with creamy lime cilantro sauce and red sauce; orzo-stuffed bell peppers with mushrooms and house-made “meatballs” created with a vegan mixture of kidney beans, carrots, rolled oats, walnuts (and more); and barbecue baked tofu in a house-made sauce with mashed potatoes and broccoli. There’s also breakfast and decadent baked goods.

Sisters Annette Baker and Marianne Lacko founded Nature’s Plate in 2011 based on the belief that “whole, plant-based foods are a big part of the answer to society’s biggest issues including obesity, heart disease, cancer, diabetes, and general lack of health/vitality,” according to a press release. “[Nature’s Plate] cuts out processed, factory-farmed items.”

Nature’s Plate in Plano is now open from Monday through Thursday 10 a.m. to 7 p.m., Friday 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., Saturday 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., Sunday 11 a.m. to 7 p.m.
