American beer bar brand Beerhead Bar & Eatery will make its Texas debut next spring with hundreds of craft brews under one roof.

The state’s first franchise location (5805 Preston Road) is currently being built out in Plano. Owned and operated by local cousins Anthony and Ashish Patel, the 4,300-square-foot setup will feature a stage for live music and large patio tucked behind roll-up garage doors and outfitted with fit pits. Two more restaurants are expected to open in Texas under the franchise deal.

Each location engages its 50 rotating tap lines to pour 400 types of locally and regionally brewed beer, spirits, and wine, designed to be paired with lunch and dinner bar fare like salads, specialty pizzas, beer brisket burgers, pork belly mac ‘n cheese, its signature “Barbarian” pretzel, and desserts. Weekend brunch calls for breakfast pizza and drink deals.

Founded in 2012 under the name The Beer Market, its new rewards program includes birthday perks, access to the “Beer-of-the-Day” deal, and access to events and tappings.
