East Dallas will welcome a new family-run bar called BarNone next spring, complete with a 40-foot bar slinging plenty of ice-cold beers to wash down clam chowder.

The 3,500-square-foot bar and restaurant will fit about 100 patrons across the modern wood-lined setup, in addition to a patio (718 North Buckner Boulevard, Suite 100). at White Rock Center.

While drinks are the focus, an all-American bar menu will include an “ultimate” burger, made with fresh house-ground meat, along with sandwiches and Dickerson family favorites like clams casino, “secret recipe” wings, Todd’s Sunday gravy, and Manhattan clam chowder.

BarNone comes from Todd Dickerson, the former 20-year managing partner at popular Deep Ellum tavern Angry Dog, and Jennifer Rohde Dickerson. Her parents Jack and Karen are also involved; their homegrown business Bud’s Salads supplies fresh-cut produce across the country.

“Our name reflects our overall promise to our customers that we will strive to offer the best cocktail, the best burger, the best atmosphere, the best seat in East Dallas … bar none,” says Jennifer, in a statement.
