Il Bracco, a new Italian eatery from two restaurant industry veterans, will debut at Preston Center this spring.
Italian for “the bloodhound,” Il Bracco will bring classic Italian dishes to 8416 Preston Center Plaza. Occupying a 3,200 square-foot space, the restaurant will seat 100 people inside and another 50 on the patio. Outdoor diners can look forward to a cozy patio bordered by hedges, and indoor diners will find an upscale environment that uses neutral-toned materials like wood, brass, terrazzo, and leather.
While menu details aren’t available just yet, ingredients like bread, pasta, and sauce will be made in house from scratch, according to a press release. Additionally, fish will be flown in daily, and the restaurant’s chefs will butcher all the meat on the menu. Il Bracco’s wine list will feature a mix of Italian and domestic wines, and the cocktail menu will offer Italian twists on ubiquitous cocktails.
II Bracco is the latest in a handful of new eateries to open recently in Preston Center including Connecticut taco chain Bartaco, and Gather Kitchen, which serves up healthy, veggie-packed build-your-own-bowls. Stay tuned for more info on what diners can expect when Il Bracco debuts this spring.
