An eatery devoted to slinging Nashville-style hot chicken and waffles around-the-clock is en route to Plano.

The appropriately named 24 Hot Chicken and Waffle Bar will make its local debut next week at 1885 Dallas Parkway, Suite 300, according to Plano Magazine, serving up fried chicken with varying spice levels 24 hours per day. The brand new restaurant will offer plenty of seating for guests thanks to an indoor dining area and two patios decked out in bright red decor and light wood accents.

As far as the food goes, 24 Hot Chicken will serve up fried chicken in various formats like strips, wings, popcorn, whole birds, and in sandwiches with five degrees of spice ranging from the entry level “24 Hot” to the intense sounding “Pull The Fire Alarm.” Plenty of drinks will be on hand to quell the heat including locally sourced watermelon juice that can be spiked with alcohol from the full bar, a handful of draft beers, soft drinks, and iced tea flavored with mango and passionfruit. Sides include mac and cheese, potato salad, coleslaw, and seasoned fries. Plus, there’s a whole dress-your-own toppings bar for the made-to-order waffles with savory gravy or sweet options like strawberry, sprinkles, and chocolate syrup. Edible cookie dough will also be on offer for dessert.

The partner duo is currently opening a second location of 24 Hot Chicken and Waffle Bar in Los Angeles, with plans for more in the Dallas area. The eatery debuts March 7 and will operate 24 hours per day, seven days a week.
