An onslaught of chicken salad is en route to Dallas-Fort Worth thanks to a local franchisee of Chicken Salad Chick who plans to bring 15 outposts of the Alabama-based eatery to DFW over the next several years.

The newest location will open in Irving next week at 341 Regent Boulevard followed by another in McKinney at 3520 W University Drive slated for early next month, which will join two existing locations in Fort Worth and Hurst. Additional outposts in Burleson and Arlington are slated to debut later this year. The major expansion is thanks to franchisee Luis Ibarguengoytia who also owns Cru Wine Bar, Bruegger’s Bagels, and Panda Express.

Chicken Salad Chick offers up a dozen chicken salad varieties peppered with fruit, nuts, cheese, bacon, jalapeños, ranch dressing, among other accoutrements, as well as salads, soups, sandwiches, and sides like mac ‘n’ cheese. The brand counts more than 100 restaurants across 13 states, and it’s obviously still expanding.

Chicken Salad Chick will open in Irving on February 13 with free chicken salad for the first 100 customers. Its regular hours of operation are Monday through Saturday 10:30 a.m. to 8 p.m.
