Dibs, Victory Park’s newest destination for comfort food and cocktails, has officially arrived.
The restaurant quietly arrived this week at 2401 Victory Park Lane, bringing yet another new option to the neighborhood’s rapidly-growing dining scene. The restaurant occupies a sprawling 7,700 square feet, including a 2,600 square foot outdoor patio that overlooks the American Airlines Center. It’s a project of This & That Concepts, which operates a number of popular Dallas bars and eateries, including Oak Cliff cocktail bar Tiny Victories and barbecue joint Ferris Wheelers.
As far as the food is concerned, diners can look forward to a comfort-focused bill of fare that ranges from chicken wings sauced in cool ranch seasoning to “adult’ steak fingers served with fries and gravy, chicken pot pie, and appetizers like nachos, fried pretzels, and hummus. On the cocktail side of the menu, find drinks like the cheekily-named Gin Diesel (Aviation gin, Italicus, lime, and lavender bitters) and Gold Rush, a mix of spice-infused Crooked Fox bourbon, lemon, and honey.
Once a restaurant wasteland, renewed interest in Victory Park has brought several impressive new restaurants to the neighborhood over the past year or so, including Billy Can Can, an outpost of bakery Sift + Pour, Imoto, and the brand new Jinya Ramen Bar, and a sports bar called Hero. Look for Burgundy Swine, and Instagram-friendly museum Sweet Tooth Hotel to land there soon, too.
The doors at Dibs open for a “soft opening” on April 19 and 20 from 6 p.m. to 2 a.m., and full service begins on April 26. Before making the trip to Victory Park scope out the food and cocktail menus for the neighborhood’s newest dining destination below.
