Arizona export and popular pasta destination North Italia is set to open its second DFW location in May.
The Italian eatery from Fox Restaurant Concepts, which also operates brand new restaurant the Henry and Flower Child, is set to make its debut in the Union building in Uptown on May 1, according to a press release. The restaurant will occupy a 5,501 square foot space complete with an outdoor patio. This brand new outpost joins a Plano location that opened at Legacy West in 2017, along with locations in Houston, Colorado, Florida, and Kansas, among others.
The Uptown location of North Italia will bring a similar menu of Italian dishes to the Union served at its other outposts, including fried calamari, prosciutto-topped pizzas, and Bolognese-lacquered pasta. At the bar, cocktails like the Quiet Italian Gentleman, a mix of Bulleit rye whiskey, Carpano Antica, Campari, and amaretto, will be on offer.
North Italia will be open for lunch and dinner when it arrives in May. Ahead of its opening, the restaurant is currently hiring wait and kitchen staff.
