A 10-Screen Movie Theatre With Upscale Snacks Is Headed to Willow Bend in Plano

Dinner and a movie will have a new ring to it in 2020 when The Shops at Willow Bend in Plano’s new movie theatre opens. A 10-screen, 40,000-square-foot Cinépolis Luxury Cinemas multiplex will open in the Plano mall next year as part of its multi-phased $145 million renovation and expansion.

The upscale movie theatre will include the prerequisite reclining leather seats — and a button to push for in-theater waiter service with a full menu. Cinépolis Luxury Cinemas Plano will be the company’s third location in Texas, joining The Cinépolis Luxury Cinemas Victory Park. That location serves up crowd-pleasing menu items like mozzarella sticks, flatbreads, tacos, and peach bourbon lemonade cocktails.
