Las Almas Rotas to host “1970s Puerto Vallarta”-style pool parties
Exposition Park bar Las Almas Rotas is bringing its agave cocktails poolside this summer. D magazine reports that the mezcaleria will take over the Belmont Hotel’s pool from May 27 to September 2. Expect frozen cocktails and themed parties depending on the day.
Texas craft brewers score a win
KXAN reports from the State Capitol on the effort to allow Texas brewpubs to sell customers “beer to go” in cans or bottles. A 15,000 person petition helped revive the bill, which was languishing previously.
The West End is getting a new Thai restaurant
