Mesa Mezcal, a new all-day Mexican restaurant inside the Westin Hotel at the Irving Convention Center, has officially opened its doors.

The new restaurant debuted this week inside the hotel at 400 West Las Colinas Boulevard in Irving, and is now serving breakfast, lunch, and dinner, according to a press release. The kitchen at Mesa Mezcal is helmed by Germain Haro, former executive chef at the Renaissance Harborplace hotel in Baltimore.

As far as the food is concerned, diners can look forward to Mexican dishes like Veracruz-style whole fish for dinner, avocado-topped huaraches (or grilled masa cakes), and the Oaxacan burger, made with a chorizo patty and topped with pineapple and pepper jack cheese. On the cocktail side of the menu, find more than 50 different types of agave-based spirits, including tequila and mezcal.

Irving’s newest Mexican eatery is now open daily. On the weekends, brunch will be served from 10:30 a.m. to 3 p.m.
