Bowls packed with spicy lamb meatballs, cauliflower quinoa tabbouleh, and “Crazy Feta” are about to land in Dallas. Washington, D.C.-based Mediterranean fast-casual chain Cava will open its first location in the Dallas area next week, adding to its more than 75 locations nationwide.
Cava is landing at Plano’s Legacy West development. The restaurant is slated to open on May 8 at 7501 Windrose Avenue, Suite D170 in Plano. Fans of Cava are drawn to its customizable bowls, which can be filled with options like “greens and grains,” roasted vegetables, and braised lamb or beef, then topped off with the likes of sumac radishes and lemon herb tahini dressing. Fresh juices and pita chips can also be added to a meal.
When the restaurant opens in Plano, its daily hours will be 10:45 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. On opening day, Cava will donate a portion of sales to Minnie’s Food Pantry, in addition to taking customer donations for the local charity.
