It’s the end of the road for an Uptown pub known for its patio, rooftop, and DJ-fueled playlists. Renfields Corner reposted a message on Facebook yesterday from bartender manager Becca Hummel sharing word about the bar’s closing. Hummel wrote:

As a unified management team it is with sad hearts we closed the doors to Renfield’s Corner today. We have loved every moment of bringing uptown the neighborhood bar it deserved. Thank you to everyone that supported us.

We are so thankful for the relationships & memories we have created through Renfield’s. Don’t forget about us.

Cheers to one last check-in & to the next whammy.

We will keep you all updated.

Fans of Renfields Corner wrote in comments like “There aren’t enough emojis or gifs to express how sad I am,” and “I was there since day one!” and “I really don’t know what to say about this but I am pretty sure my bar tab for the past 10 years paid for the patio.” Eater reached out to the bar management and will update this post if necessary.
