Velvet Taco Plots Its Latest Location

Popular DFW-based taco chain Velvet Taco is adding yet another location. Triten Real Estate Partners just announced the purchase of Tollway Place at 15110 North Dallas Parkway, and the renovation plans for this six-story office building involves putting in a Velvet Taco location on the ground floor complete with outdoor patio.

”We’re repositioning Tollway Place into a Class A jewel box and Velvet Taco will bring added curb appeal creating a walkable amenity for tenants along with landscaping, benches, green space and outdoor patio seating,” Triten partner Paul Marin said in a press release.

The Tollway Place renovation is expected to be complete by fall of 2019. Meanwhile, Velvet Taco’s been expanding at a rapid clip, opening an outpost inside Plano’s Legacy Hall (the tenth DFW outpost) and recently opening up a shop in Atlanta.
