Jollof rice from a top DC chef lands in Dallas

Chef Eric Adjepong, a Top Chef alum and prominent DC chef, is now delivering his famed jollof rice in Dallas. According to Eater DC, Adjepong has teamed up with Territory Foods, a meal delivery service that caters to the fitness-obsessed to bring the dish to Dallas, San Francisco, Los Angeles, and of course, D.C. For those who are unfamiliar with jollof rice, it’s a richly-spiced West African classic that will be served alongside cubes of roasted chicken and sauteed kale.

Flower Child arrives at Preston Royal

The latest outpost of health-obsessed, veggie-packed restaurant Flower Child debuts on Tuesday, May 14 at 5959 Royal Lane. According to a press release, the area’s third DFW outpost boasts a dog-friendly patio and the same menu of customizable bowls, salads, and wraps.

The Cheesemobile will soon rove the streets of Dallas

The Dallas Grilled Cheese Company will officially debut its brand new food truck this week. Dubbed the Cheesemobile, the truck will start slinging grilled cheese sandwiches on Thursday, May 16 at Bishop Cider Company’s Cidercade in the Design District. It’ll return to that location on June 1 to serve up even more melty cheese, and can be booked for private events.
