After being in the works for more than two years, the opening of restaurant/sprawling entertainment center Punch Bowl Social is almost here. The Denver-based chain announced today that it will open its new Dallas location in Deep Ellum at 2600 Main St. on Saturday, June 29.

The Deep Ellum location is going to be absolutely huge, clocking in at 24,000 square feet with a dizzying array of entertainment options including ping-pong, darts, board games, old-school video games, bowling, and private karaoke rooms. The decor is inspired by local elements, including elm bark-covered host stands and elm tree-inspired chandeliers and wall coverings.

The menu for this self-proclaimed “millennial magnet” is just as playful: think “Umami Bomb Chips and Dip” made with cream cheese, sour cream, mushrooms and charred onions. Other options include shrimp burgers and healthful choices like a “Super Food Grain Bowl.” As for drinks, find local beers, craft cocktails, and yes, punches.

Punch Bowl Social Deep Ellum will soon be joined by Punch Bowl Social Ft Worth, anticipated to open later this summer. The company is celebrating its new Dallas location with an opening night party on June 29: tickets will be sold for the soiree at 7 p.m, with all proceeds directed to Dallas non-profit Foundation 45, and then the doors will open at 9 p.m. to the public.
