Later this month, famed NYC pastry chef Christina Tosi’s sweet shop Milk Bar will pop up in Dallas for two days.
The shop is headed out on the road this summer for stops in five cities, and Dallas is one of them. According to Milk Bar, the shop’s beloved cereal milk ice cream and Milk Bar Pie will be on offer at Emporium Pies in the Bishop Arts District on June 29 and June 30. Dallas is the second location on the five-city tour, following a stop in Austin earlier this month. After Dallas, the truck heads to Chicago, Minneapolis, and Miami.
The ice cream and cookies will be served out of Milk Bar’s vintage ice cream truck, a modernized version of an old-school Chevy postal truck. Cereal milk soft serve topped with cornflake crunch will be on offer, along with Compost Cookies, Milk Bar Pie (formerly known as the offensively named “Crack Pie”) and cake truffles, along with shop swag.
When Milk Bar pops up in Dallas at the end of the month, anticipate lengthy lines.
