Shake Shack Will Open Yet Another DFW Outpost in Addison

It’s the eighth location for the expanding brand

Shake Shack is continuing its DFW takeover with a new location in the works for Addison, which will bring the local count to eight.

Permits filed with the Texas Comptroller of Public Accounts indicate that the newest Shack is headed to 5290 Belt Line Road, Suite 112A, which formerly housed La Madeleine until this past January when it was forced to close due to a rent hike. Hiring is already underway for the Shack’s new location — a job bulletin posted to the company’s website seeks a shift manager for the new Addison spot.

The outrageously popular New York chain is taking DFW by storm with its frozen custards and concretes, crinkle-cut fries, and hormone and antibiotics-free meats, including burgers, chicken sandwiches, and hot dogs. The chain actually began as a hot dog cart in New York City’s Madison Square Park and now counts more than 100 locations across the U.S.

At the forthcoming Addison location, diners will also find breakfast sandwich options, beer and wine, and even treats for pups. It will join seven other locations in DFW, including a recently opened outpost on Greenville Avenue, and restaurants at Plano’s Legacy West, Uptown Dallas, and Dallas-Fort Worth International Airport.

A press release announces that Shake Shack will arrive in Fall 2019. Stay tuned for Shake Shack’s official Addison opening date.
