A glamorous new steakhouse is coming to Bluffview thanks to the same guy behind Hudson House and East Hampton Sandwich Co.
Hunter Pond will debut Drake’s at 5007 West Lovers Lane this October. The 4,000-square-foot space will feature a classic Hollywood aesthetic — think dim mood lighting and plush red-accented interiors with a large circular bar and lounge for live music taking center stage.
As far as food is concerned, Drake’s is billing itself as a steakhouse and will be pushing juicy slabs of beef at “neighborhood prices,” although exact menu details aren’t available just yet. Cocktails will be inspired by the ultra-swank and always trendy Beverly Hills Hotel. According to a press release, Pond wanted to add West Coast flair to the neighborhood where he grew up, as most of his concepts have been inspired by the East Coast thus far.
“My vision for Drake’s is a comfortable, yet sophisticated place to hang out with friends,” Pond said in a statement. “We are huge fans of this neighborhood and we believe this concept will thrive due to the need for fun places to have dinner – keyword being fun!”
Drake’s plans to debut in October and will serve dinner Tuesday through Sunday. Stay tuned for more details on its official arrival.
