A new coffee shop that roasts its own beans on-site will open tomorrow in historic Downtown Carrollton.

Lemma Coffee Roasters will throw open its doors at 1014 S Broadway Street, welcoming diners to the company’s first combined shop and roastery. So far, Lemma has served up its coffee from a roaming food truck and a stand on the UTD campus, while operating a separate roastery in Denton. The relatively new company, which formed in 2017, also supplies local coffee shops and grocers with its single-origin beans from Kenya, Burundi, and Peru to name a few locations.

Lemma’s Kickstarter campaign lists menu items like espresso beverages, pour-over coffee, cold brew, and “much more” on the drinks side. Food includes locally-sourced pastries, yogurt parfaits, breakfast and lunch sandwiches, to name a few options. According to Lemma’s Facebook page, its stand on the UTD campus offers up vegan and gluten-free baked goods by Reverie, here’s hoping the health-conscious eats make the trek to Carrollton.

Lemma Coffee Roasters officially opens on July 11 at 7 a.m.

We’re proud to work with & offer pastries from Reverie! Everything they make is vegan and we carry a few of their vegan gluten free options! Supporting other small local businesses is what it’s all about.❤️
