An Entire Wall of Kegs Brings Tons of Beer to a Massive New North Dallas Bar

Longhorn Icehouse will also have a music venue and arcade games on deck

A massive new sports bar called Longhorn Icehouse is set to open this fall in Northwest Dallas near its border with Irving.

The enormous 20,000 square-foot space will debut at 1901 W Northwest Highway, down the street from Cowboys Red River and Gas Monkey Bar N’ Grill. The bar is taking over the space formerly occupied by the longstanding Mercado Juarez Cafe, which has been in operation in DFW since the 1980s and still counts two outposts in Arlington and Fort Worth.

Beer is featured heavily at this bar — a giant “keg wall” will take center stage in the space, according to the business’s Facebook page. Food will also be on offer including gyros, hamburgers, wings, salads, and more options. Longhorn Icehouse will also boast a “massive” arcade space and live music venue complete with nightly DJs, according to a rep for the bar.

We have kegs galore! Have you seen a keg wall before?! Here’s a little sneak peak of what we have going up! #deepellumbrewing #tommycconstruction
