Mot Hai Ba, the East Dallas Vietnamese restaurant that’s earned love from locals and celebrities alike, will open a second outpost.
Chef Peja Krstic will bring his cuisine to the South Victory development at 665 High Market Street later this year, according to a press release. There, it will occupy a 3,463 square foot space, joining restaurants like Billy Can Can, Mesero, and Hero, along with Instagram museum Sweet Tooth Hotel and luxe movie theatre Cineopolis.
The original Lakewood outpost opened in 2013 with chefs Colleen O’Hare and Jeana Johnson at the helm, and was taken over by Krstic in 2016. Since then, it’s earned a reputation as one of Dallas’s best Vietnamese restaurants, and recently, has become a spot for celebrity sightings. Both rapper Kanye West and comedian Aziz Ansari have dined at Mot Hai Ba in the last year.
Expect Mot Hai Ba to hit Victory Park sometime this fall. Stay tuned for an official opening date.
