Victor Hugo’s will add a new location
Oak Cliff’s Victor Hugo’s will open up a location in Richardson this fall, bringing an American bistro serving burgers and quesadillas stuffed with brie, bacon, and mushrooms to the neighborhood. The plan is to open on Halloween at 100 S. Central Expressway #49, with service planned for lunch, dinner, and weekend brunch.
“Ask Angela” program rolls out in Denton bars to prevent sexual assaults
The Denton police department is implementing a global campaign called ”Ask For Angela:” patrons who feel unsafe in bars can approach staff members and ask for Angela to discreetly seek help. NBC DFW reports that at least 10 bars are participating in the program so far.
Hurts Donut is looking for a doughnut thief
Someone stole a doughnut from a case at Hurts Donut in Fort Worth, and the shop posted a video of the theft on their Facebook page.
Shooting at an Arlington Whataburger parking lot
NBC DFW reports that one person is injured after a shootout allegedly over a drug deal in the parking lot of Whataburger at 4120 S. Collins St. in Arlington. The suspects shot at a car that the victim was riding in on Saturday morning.
