Bullion’s Bruno Davaillon is moving into a creative advisor role

Glitzy fine-dining restaurant Bullion is switching things up: the search is on for an executive chef as founding executive chef Bruno Davaillon is now serving as the restaurant’s creative adviser, per Dallas News. Davaillon, who earned a Michelin star in 2008 at Alain Ducasse’s Mix in Las Vegas, told D: “I don’t have much more to [say] at the moment” when it comes to his future plans.

Stonedeck Pizza Pub is closing this week

CultureMap Dallas reports that Stonedeck Pizza Pub is shutting its doors for good on January 25 at 5 p.m. after six years in Deep Ellum. There’s still time to get some pepperoni mozzarella pinwheels before then.

Dallas’s favorite soufflés are headed to Austin

Soufflé restaurant Rise is making the jump from Dallas to Austin later this year, Eater Austin reports. This will be the fourth location for Rise, with outposts in Dallas, Fort Worth, and Houston already.
