To be sure, the past eight months have seriously shaken up Dallas’s dining scene. Restaurants have been forced to pivot to takeout, close and reopen, and adapt to incredible change due to the coronavirus pandemic.
Even though indoor dining has been a possibility in Dallas and beyond since June, when Texas Gov. Greg Abbott allowed dining rooms to open at limited capacity, there are still plenty of diners who are choosing to stay at home and stay cautious as COVID-19 cases continue to rise throughout the state. Meanwhile others, after being cooped up for months inside their homes, are eagerly making a return to their favorite establishments.
However you’re handling dining out right now, Eater Dallas wants to hear about it. Cast your vote in the poll below, and feel free to expound upon your position in the comments. The poll will be open through Friday, October 23, and we’ll publish the results next week.
