Signage is up for the second DFW outpost of Botolino Gelato Artigianale, the Greenville Avenue gelateria that’s earned a seriously devoted crop of fans since its debut.

Owner Carlo Gattini confirms to Eater that he’ll open a second Botolino at 5959 Royal Lane, Suite 622, in a space that formerly housed one of the last remaining outposts of frozen yogurt chain Pinkberry in DFW. A third generation gelato maker, Gattini opened his first store late summer 2017 and has been turning out high-quality, real Italian gelato on Greenville Avenue ever since.

Since the shop’s opening, Gattini has enjoyed success by rotating flavors, offering pies and cakes, hosting themed weeks, and sourcing the finest ingredients from around the world. Most recently the shop has launched free delivery within a three mile radius of the original location.

Flavors like White Coffee, Mascarpone and Figs, and Pistachio remain on Botolino’s menu all the time, while new creations like chestnut, ube (purple yam), and vegan option Almonds & Amarene rotate onto the roster each week.

At present, Botolino’s North Dallas outpost is set for a March 15 debut.
