Indoor-outdoor hangout Southside Rambler opens next month with live music, rugged roadside vibes, and plenty of beers to wash down its dressed-down lineup.

Southside Rambler, an ode to its Southside district location, slides into the former La Zona space (1264 W Magnolia Avenue). The new venture comes from husband-wife duo Kevin and Julia von Ehrenfried.

Along with traditional bar fare like burgers, sandwiches, salads, and loads of apps, there’s cocktails, wines, and 40 draft beer taps across the indoor and outdoor bars.

The upgraded patio is decked out with a new bar, multiple decks, and cozy seating areas.

The patio, outfitted with fire pits and a cedar deck, will play host to a rotating lineup of local musicians a few days a week.
