Margarita flights from Mexican Sugar are about to land in Las Colinas. The popular restaurant opened in 2013 in Plano at The Shops at Legacy, boasting Latin-inspired dishes like tacos and arepas — plus cocktails on tap.
Now Mexican Sugar is branching out: the restaurant will roll out its second DFW location this spring at 3215 Regent Boulevard in Irving. The second edition of Mexican Sugar is going to be massive, clocking in at 10,793 square feet with 427 seats.
In addition to made-from-scratch fajitas and weekend brunch enchiladas, Mexican Sugar’s bar is going to be stocked with more than 150 tequilas. Besides those popular margarita flights, the new restaurant will also offer tequila flights, with four samples per flights.
When Mexican Sugar opens its second location, the restaurant will be open for lunch, dinner, and weekend brunch, with a happy hour on weekdays from 3 pm. to 6 p.m.
