Hospitality group Milkshake Concepts has its eye on Addison. This week, the restaurant group opened a third location of cocktail and comfort food spot Stirr in the neighborhood. Now the team is plotting a second location for its Deep Ellum Mexican eatery, Vidorra, in the same development at Village on the Parkway in Addison.
The second Vidorra location will channel the same elements that made it popular in Deep Ellum, including lots of tequila and margaritas served on a glamorous rooftop and events like “No Siesta Sundays.”
Milkshake Concepts’ NextSeed fundraising campaign indicates the Addison location will be modeled after the menu and atmosphere of the original location, with outdoor patio seating. The menu will be similar too at the Addison outpost, covering lunch, brunch, happy hour, dinner, and late-night dining — including dishes like queso served in a 400-degree molcajete bowl and brunch cocktails like the “Boozed Up Cereal-Rum Horchata with Cinnamon Toast Crunch.”
