Deep Ellum’s Stirr is planting locations for cocktails and dressed-up comfort food all over town. The budding chain from hospitality group Milkshake Concepts (also known for Vidorra, Citizen and Serious Pizza) first launched in 2016, bringing punch bowls and dry-aged ribeye to 2803 Main.
Then in October 2019, a second Stirr location opened, this time in Fort Worth in a massive 10,000-square-foot space complete with a patio and 20 TVs for game watches. Now, Stirr Addison is almost ready to open up in the Village on the Parkway. The slated opening date is Monday, March 9 at 5100 Belt Line Road, Suite 540.
“We love the Addison area and have built our most impressive location to date; a stunning two story venue that we believe all residents and visitors to the area are really going to enjoy,” Milkshake Concepts CEO and co-founder Imran Sheikh said in a press release.
This is another gigantic space, clocking in at over 10,000 square feet with room for 300 diners. There’s an elevator in the multi-story restaurant, which again includes lots of televisions along with room for private dining.
On the cocktail side, drinkers can order a Stirr Old Fashioned with Knob Creek rye, local honey simple syrup, bruleed chocolate mole, angostura bitters, and orange peel. Entrees include kettle-chip crusted chicken breast crispy chicken sandwiches and chicken fried rib-eye with duck fat cream gravy, while brunch options includes brisket hash and Bananas Fosters pancakes.
Stirr Addison will be open daily for lunch and dinner and brunch on the weekend. Opening hours are 11 a.m. to midnight Monday through Wednesday; 11 a.m. through 2 a.m. Thursday and Friday; 10 a.m. through 2 a.m. on Saturday; and 10 a.m. to midnight on Sunday.
