Even though the State Fair of Texas is canceled this year due to the coronavirus pandemic, fans of the fair’s most iconic food will still be able to get their hands on a Fletcher’s Corny Dog in 2020.

In a post to the Fletcher’s Instagram page, the beloved corny dog purveyor announced that it would operate pop-ups across DFW at a variety of locations from now until late October, when the State Fair of Texas typically concludes. At present, Fletcher’s has pop-up events scheduled in Dallas, Highland Village, Rockwall, Plano, and even Waxahachie in the coming weeks.

For those who are somehow unfamiliar with the iconic Fletcher’s Corny Dog, it’s been a State Fair of Texas staple since 1942. The cancellation of the fair was a major hit for its vendors, many of whom make an entire year’s income during those weeks in the fall.

Fletcher’s will keep an updated list of its forthcoming pop-ups on the brand’s website. The next, set for July 15, will take place at Tyler Station in Oak Cliff.
