Longtime Dallas pizzeria Greenville Avenue Pizza Company will debut its newest location in Richardson.
Permit applications filed with the Texas Alcoholic Beverage Commission indicate that Greenville Avenue Pizza Company, affectionately known as GAPCo, will open at 520 Lockwood Drive in Richardson. A post to the restaurant’s LinkedIn account also indicates that it’s currently hiring staff for the location, which is set to arrive sometime later this year.
It’s the third local outpost for the chain, joining the original restaurant on Greenville Avenue and a second restaurant in East Dallas, which opened in 2017.
For those who are somehow unfamiliar with Greenville Avenue Pizza Company, it’s been a staple of its namesake street since 2007. It’s known for late-night delivery and creative pies like a Mexican pizza topped with poblano peppers, hamburger, and cilantro, and the Pesto Sciutto, a pie garnished with pesto, prosciutto, and GAPCo’s signature seasoning. Wings, pasta, sandwiches, and snacks like pizza poppers and toasted ravioli are also on the menu.
No official opening timeline has been announced for GAPCo’s Richardson location. Stay tuned for more details on its arrival.
