Casa Del Vegano, a brand new taqueria from the minds behind beloved Oak Cliff restaurant Vegan Food House, will soon make its debut.

According to a post to Vegan Food House’s Instagram account, the restaurant is currently staffing up for its debut at 333 Jefferson Boulevard in the coming months. Details on what kind of meat-free tacos will be on offer are scant right now, but Vegan Food House already has multiple taco and Tex-Mex options on its menu, including a new “shrimp” quesadilla, and tortillas stuffed with fried “fish,” buffalo “swimp,” and black beans.

Since its 2019 debut, Vegan Food House has proved a popular destination for both those on plant-based diets and carnivores alike, thanks to its towering, Insta-worthy sandwiches, Southern comfort eats, and clever cocktails. The restaurant’s been hustling through the pandemic, keeping its dining room closed and serving its dishes only for takeout.

Eater has reached out to the team behind Casa del Vegano for more details on the menu and when the restaurant will open. Stay tuned for more details.
