PJ’s Coffee, the New Orleans coffee shop known for its small batch-roasted Arabica beans, has added two more locations to the Metroplex in addition to the previously-announced Midway Road shop.
Those additional locations are already open — one at 6091 West University Drive in McKinney, and one at 4901 Texas Highway 114 in Northlake. The 13605 Midway Road location is expected to open in February.
The timing couldn’t be more perfect. The NOLA brand is celebrating its Dallas launch with a limited-edition Mardi Gras-themed menu that includes a king cake latte made with PJ’s espresso dolce roast, steamed milk with vanilla and cinnamon, and tipped with a generous dollop of whipped cream dusted in purple sugar. Other drinks include the King Cake Crème cold brew, and the Zulu Coconut Iced Mocha, named after one of the city’s most iconic Mardi Gras krewes.
PJ’s was first founded in New Orleans in 1978, and in the years since, has grown through Louisiana and other Southern States. The company also has plans to open several more stores in Texas over the course of 2021.
