For those who don’t want to cook, but don’t want to take the risk of dining out during a pandemic with numbers on the rise, these Dallas restaurants are coming to the rescue with killer Valentine’s Day takeout packages perfect for takeout, curbside pickup, or delivery.
Whether celebrating alone, with a significant other, with girlfriends or not at all, this Valentine’s Day is definitely going to be different, but it doesn’t have to be less delicious thanks to these 16 takeout options.
Tacos from Mario Bros. Tacos
Available in limited quantities, Mario Bros. will be filling a heart-shaped chocolate box with tacos again this year. The little shack is opening a second location in Plano off E Park Blvd., and the original location is relocating to 8420 Abrams at Royal.

Premium pressed sushi from Sushi de Handroll
The creator of Dallas’ most beautiful mosaic sushi is planning some major, limited time upgrades this Valentine’s Day with a premium mosaic sushi box. Though usually available as a special treat any day with some notice, the specialty mosaic masterpiece will include uni, Japanese scallop, truffle-and-gold-flake topped wagyu beef and more.
Sweet or salty limited edition boxes at Uchi Dallas
With both a sweet “Valentine’s Day Sweet Box” and a savory “Curbside Caviar Box,” available for curbside pickup at Uchi, each collection of curated sweets and treats is sure to make Valentine’s Day feel special, even if it’s in your own dining room. The sweet box is designed by Uchi pastry chef Ariana Quant and includes specialty sweets like dark chocolate nougat with almonds, candied orange, lemongrass, and makrut lime, strawberry rose pâte de fruit, yuzu caramels, white chocolate habanero candied popcorn and more. The caviar box includes caviar of course, plus spoons, chips, sauces and sparkling wine. Both boxes are limited, with preorders happening through February 11 for pickup on February 13 or 14. Staying home can still be special with a surprising heart-shaped pizza. Three local spots, Mimi’s Pizzeria on Northwest Highway, Greenville Avenue Pizza Company on Lowest Greenville and Delucca Gaucho Pizza in both the Design District and in Plano, are offering heart-shaped pies in honor of the cheesiest of holidays. Wicked Butcher, the restaurant inside The Sinclair in Fort Worth is offering a three-course Valentine’s Menu, available to-go, featuring luxurious dish options like tuna carpaccio and foie gras, New Zealand rack of lamb, 32 oz. dry aged porterhouse for two and a dark chocolate hazelnut tart. Opulence offered up to-go at Ocean Prime
Swing by Ocean Prime on Valentine’s Day to impress your sweetie with a three-course dinner in a box, starting at $199. The uptown steakhouse’s Valentine’s Day kit comes with ingredients prepped and ready, plus step-by-step instructions to cook a complete Surf & Turf dinner for two with lobster bisque, choice of two sides, chateaubriand, rolls, soft pretzels and whipped butter, plus and a choice of shrimp scampi or Alaskan king crab legs with butter. Chocolate fondue with strawberries caps off the night, and the whole boxed dinner comes complete with a candle in a special scent unique to Ocean Prime.
Northern Italian Love up north at Taverna at Legacy West
Available for dine-in or to-go, a special menu featuring dishes like Lobster Tail with beef tenderloin, dark chocolate cake and asparagus tagliolini are all available on Taverna’s Valentine’s Day menu all weekend long.

Share a big bowl of Bun Thang noodle soup at Ngon
Knock out Chinese New Year and Valentine’s Day in one meal, pick up a special soup from Ngon Vietnamese Kitchen on Greenville Avenue. The dish is called Bun Thang and it features rice noodles in a chicken broth with dried shrimp floss, shredded chicken, Vietnamese ham, fried egg, pickled daikon, shiitake mushrooms, and Chinese sausage The dish is only available for one week, between Friday, February 12 and Friday, February 19, and orders come with traditional gifts of gold or red envelopes with gift cards throughout the week.

Available the entire month of February (and note that Partenope is closed on the 14th because it’s a Sunday), order up a Spaghetti all Scarpariello kit online for curbside pick-up. Eatzi’s always has a number of specialty dinner options for each holiday, but for Valentine’s Day they’ve put together some very fancy dinner for two options available for preorder, including a Rosewood Ranch espresso and cocoa rubbed Wagyu sirloin with black raspberry port demi-glace, two crab-stuffed lobster tails, filet mignon with horseradish butter, or chicken cordon bleu with mustard cream sauce. All combinations include side dishes, a heart-shaped créme brulee and a 6-pack of chocolate truffles. Order by Saturday, February 13.
For a smokin’ hot Valentine’s Day:
One90 Smoked Meats in East Dallas is no stranger to take-and-heat-and-eat meats. That’s a been a good amount of their business since the beginning. But this Valentine’s Day calls for something a bit more special. The One90 Valentine’s Day Dinner for Two, includes a 16-ounce beef tenderloin, asparagus, potatoes au gratin, salad and rolls, plus a brookie (brownie-cookie hybrid) from local EVo’s Bakery as well as flowers from en Fleur.
