Yi Fang Taiwan Fruit Tea, a cult-favorite Taiwanese boba tea shop known for its fruity teas, will soon make its debut in Dallas.

The boba destination is set to open its doors inside the Frisco Oasis development in Frisco, alongside much-anticipated hot pot spot HaiDiLao. Yi Fang is known for its fruit-based boba drinks, made with fresh ingredients that are imported from Taiwan in an effort to support the country’s local farmers.

Instead of the fruit-flavored powders used to flavor drinks at some boba shops, Yi Fang makes its own organic cane sugar and a special pineapple jam passed down from the founders’s grandmother to flavor its drinks. As far as the menu is concerned, expect classics like black milk tea with boba and the wildly trendy brown sugar boba latte, along with fresh starfruit juice, kumquat green tea, and seasonally available sugarcane lattes.

The Frisco outpost marks Yi Fang’s first location in Texas, joining stateside shops in California, New York, Atlanta, and Washington, among other locales.

No word yet on when Yi Fang will open its doors in Frisco; stay tuned for an official opening date.
