A Running List of the Dallas-Fort Worth Restaurants That Will Continue to Require Masks

Many of the city’s eateries will continue to operate at limited capacity

On Tuesday, Texas Gov. Greg Abbott announced that restaurants across the state could open their doors at normal capacity, and rescinded the state’s mask mandate. Despite this newfound freedom, a number of Dallas restaurants plan to continue enforcing social distance requirements and mask-wearing in an effort to protect their staff and patrons.

Because most Dallasites have still not yet received the COVID-19 vaccine, and that hundreds of people are still diagnosed with the virus in Dallas County each day, it’s likely that many diners will choose to dine out only at establishments that will still require people to wear masks while dining indoors. In the coming days, Eater will continue to round up these restaurants as more establishments make decisions on how to move forward.
