Serious Pizza’s second location now open in Fort Worth

Serious Pizza, the Deep Ellum purveyor of giant 30-inch pies, has opened its second location in Fort Worth’s West 7th district. The new restaurant, at 2728 West 7th Street, opened June 23, and will host a grand opening celebration July 1 complete with pizza delivery on horseback throughout the West 7th district.

The pizzeria’s tiny Dallas dining room was renovated earlier this year, reopening in February with much more space. The Fort Worth location includes expansive seating and an outdoor patio.

Cinnaholic brings vegan treats to Frisco

Cinnaholic, the gourmet vegan bakery made famous by a 2014 appearance on ABC reality show Shark Tank, is now open in Frisco. The restaurant, at 6975 Lebanon Road, opened earlier this month, and is the seventh location in North Texas. Cinnaholic is known for its decadent vegan cinnamon rolls, which are loaded with everything from fresh berries to cookie dough to marshmallows and chocolate syrup.

MELT Ice Creams will open a location in Mule Alley

MELT, the seasonally-inspired ice cream shop founded in Fort Worth, will open a new location in that city’s historic Stockyards. The location, at 128 East Exchange Avenue, will join several other restaurants in Mule Alley, including cowgirl-inspired bar Sidesaddle Saloon, Provender Hall, and The Biscuit Bar. When it arrives, diners can expect a menu of seasonally rotating flavors like pineapple upside down cake, coconut sorbet, and key lime pie. An opening date for the new location, Fort Worth’s fourth, has yet to be announced.
